As part of our initiative to support entrepreneurs, startups and business owners – we actively put on and seek out the best local events for entrepreneurs.

“You don’t know what you don’t know until you know it”

Events serve to educate and support entrepreneurs through their startup Journey.  Any experienced entrepreneur knows that it can often be a long and lonely road to success, this coupled with the need to perform roles outside of your area of expertise can lead to an overall daunting and difficult experience.

Coming along to events ensures that you are up to date with current trends across various industries, meeting people in similar circumstances and also taking advantage of opportunities that can go a long way to helping your business.

Join us at our next event and find out what it is all about.  Very rarely is it a waste of time, so if you haven’t already RSVP to the next one!

Hope to see you there!

For most small businesses and startups, the objective of the business is to grow and grow some more! However, we have heard the old adage that it costs 6 times more to win a new customer than it takes to keep an existing customer. Today, this is more true than ever. The commoditisation of products and services puts the power of choice in the hands of the consumer, and they are exercising this power to choose!

In this session, we will cover:

  • As a small business, what can we do to find and win new business?
  • What can we do to keep existing ones?

Join us as Paul Baptist, the Vice President of Salesforce Service Cloud APAC, shares his passion for helping startups and small businesses provide their customers faster, more personalised customer service, and increase their ability to support their customers through lean service teams.

About Paul:

The saying “jack of all trades” is usually followed up with “master of none.” In my case I’d like to say that I’m a “master of some.”

I am very fortunate to find myself in the rather unique position of being both tech- and business-savvy. Through my experience I’ve learnt to be multilingual. I speak:

Geek, sales, marketing, service, implementation, cost-benefit and, I think most important of all, “plain and simple.”

One of my great loves is telling people stories. And I do so, often times, on stage at various events around the globe. I tell people stories through presentations (I’m passionate about the technology products I work with), through music (I sing in a band and choir) and through demonstrations (I love making technology do things people rarely get to see).

I am also trying to do my bit in making the world a better place. I am a strong supporter of Salesforce’s 1-1-1 model and work with not-for-profit organisations across APAC helping with their technology solutions. I am also pretty handy with a hammer, building homes in Cambodia each year.
