As part of our initiative to support entrepreneurs, startups and business owners – we actively put on and seek out the best local events for entrepreneurs.
“You don’t know what you don’t know until you know it”
Events serve to educate and support entrepreneurs through their startup Journey. Any experienced entrepreneur knows that it can often be a long and lonely road to success, this coupled with the need to perform roles outside of your area of expertise can lead to an overall daunting and difficult experience.
Coming along to events ensures that you are up to date with current trends across various industries, meeting people in similar circumstances and also taking advantage of opportunities that can go a long way to helping your business.
Join us at our next event and find out what it is all about. Very rarely is it a waste of time, so if you haven’t already RSVP to the next one!
Hope to see you there!

Data is everywhere. But how can startups leverage data to benefit themselves, to provide a stronger value proposition to customers, and to grow?
Come and learn about the role of data in an early-stage startup, whether it’s to measure and manage themselves, or to offer a unique value proposition to customers.
We’ve invited 3 of our SYD6 founders working closely with data to pitch their startups to the crowd. We also have a special guest, Peter Leonard, an expert in the field of data-driven businesses who will be speaking about the role of data in startups!
This event is a chance for our latest cohort of founders (SYD6) to share with you a bit about their startup, how they are engaging with data and then to ask for your feedback in helping their business grow. Yep, you get a chance to engage with and shape the future of our current portfolio.
The Guest Speaker
Peter Leonard is a data, content and technology business consultant and lawyer. He is principal of Data Synergies, a business and legal consultancy for data driven businesses, a Professor of Practice at UNSW Business School. He was a founding partner of Gilbert + Tobin.
